APS is extending words of understanding and apologies to pensioners who may not have received their regular pension payments over the course of past days.
The pension fund administrator received calls from active participants over the past few days, indicating they had not yet received their pension payment for the month of July.
APS immediately looked into the reports but could not determine if the delay was in any way related to technical or administrative challenges reportedly faced by some banking institutions, where it concerns the processing of the usual pensioners payroll.
APS says it pleased to note that in the case of one beneficiary bank, the matter has been resolved and that the pensioners affiliated with that bank have received their pension payment, as scheduled.
APS will continue to monitor the situation with remaining banks and expresses regret at the inconvenience caused to pensioners still awaiting their monthly pension payments.
