Cap: The Prime Minister of St. Maarten the Honorable Sarah Wescot-Williams took part in the drug free walk organized by the Turning Point Foundation and offered encouraging words to all those present and the general public in keeping active and resisting drugs within the community. "I would like to congratulate the Turning Point Foundation and all of those present here today in coming together to encourage the community to move towards encouraging a drug free society," commented the Prime Minister. The Prime Minister also encouraged the community to stay off of drugs and to lead a healthy lifestyle. The Prime Minister, who was also joined by the Minister of Health and Social Affairs the Hon. Cornelius de Weever and the Minister of Education, Culture, Youth and Sport the Hon. Patricia D. Lourens in awarding youth sports team members for their achievement in dedicating themselves to sports and staying away from drugs. The PM also congratulated the Cul-de-Sac Padres and St. James Stars Pony League Teams for winning the annual pony league trophy.
