Recently, while attending a meeting on Sint Maarten, Jaime Saleh in his current capacity as Minister of State for Curacao and board member of the Dutch Caribbean Nature Alliance paid a brief courtesy visit to Prime Minister Leona Romeo Marlin at the Government Building. Mr. Saleh and Prime Minister Romeo Marlin discussed the ongoing recovery process and the current state of affairs on Sint Maarten.
Before accepting his current role as Minister of State for Curacao, from September 1979 to February 1990, Mr. Saleh was President of the Common Court of Justice of the Netherlands Antilles and Aruba and from 1990 to 2002, he served as Governor General of the Netherlands Antilles.
