Cops & Kids wraps up the Year

As organizers of Cops & Kids, we the Community Police Officers of the Police Force of Sint Maarten (KPSM) extend heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of the program this term. Our goal to meet and connect with the students was met and proved to be a memorable experience for us. Our aim is to bridge that gap and we are working diligently to make that the new normal, but additionally, we are also aiming to motivate, teach and empower students with the necessary knowledge to be able to make smart choices for themselves. This may be the preferred option that they avoid poor choices; but also that when and if a wrong choice is made that it doesn’t have to cost them their dreams or future. We encourage them to feel welcomed and to reach out to any CPO they met if they ever need someone to listen to them.

We would like to thank the following schools and parents of the students who allowed them to participate in the program. We appreciate the trust you gave to us to play a part in preparing them for their future. It’s not a quick fix, but a critical first step. With you we too are excited to see where they will choose to have an impact in the future.
