Aiming to inform students and parents…….
Are you interested in furthering your studies in the U.S. or Canada? An important step in preparing to further one’s studies in the U.S. or Canada is ensuring to apply for a Student Visa or Study Permit. This topic is very important as it ties into immigration matters. If any mistakes are made during the application process or any important information is left out, it could cause the application to be delayed or even declined.
To help demystify the process, the Student Support Services Division (SSSD) of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Youth, and Sports is inviting students and parents to “Steps in Applying for a U.S. Student Visa or Canadian Study Permit”. This free interactive workshop will be held on April 13th, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the University of St. Martin (USM).
Students will learn the step by step process of applying for either the U.S. Student Visa or the Canadian Study Permit. Persons interested in attending are urged to contact the SSSD’s office at 54-31235 to reserve their spot.
