Miss Mature Presents Water Bottles To Students

In recognition of World Water Day; March 22, Miss Mature Queen 2016 Norrisa Anatol distributed 1000 sports water bottles to several persons in the community, students, teachers and school managers. The awareness commenced with persons flooding their social media timelines with a picture of them recieiving a bottle, along with positive messages about the importance of water. Anatol continued her awareness by distributed over 800 sports water bottles to all 3rd grade (Group 5) students, teachers and school managers in the 20 Primary Schools on the island. In addition to presenting the bottles, Anatol spoke to all the students about the importance of water, how often we must drink it and how important it is to save water as many others are not fortunate like us to have clean drinking water. “With the quote printed on the bottles, “Water Is Life,” Anatol reminded the students that as they grow, they must understand how important water is for their development. Present to assist Anatol in the distribution of the bottles were sponsors Kenrick Housen of Carl N Sons and Brenda Arrundell of Captain D’s Rib Shack who gave encouraging words to the students about water.

The students thanked Anatol for her kind gesture by chanting thank you songs, reciting poems and displaying warm hugs. Students also had the oppurtunity to share their views on water, while one student from the Caribbean International Academy/Montessori schools informed Anatol on her quest to highlight the importance of water through a YouTube channel that she created with her mother.

“I would like to thank Tony’s Air-conditioning and Refrigerating Services, Spotless Cleaning Services, Captain D’s Rib Shack, Carl’s Unique Inn & Conference Facilities and Bakery, Hughes Culinary Villa Services and Principle Accounting & Consulting Services for being the proud sponsors of this project. To the school managers, teachers and students of all the schools; thank you for accepting my request to visit and present the water bottles,” Anatol concluded
