On Saturday, September 10th the fire brigade on St. Eustatius had to be urgently directed a property on the Kerkweg which was on fire. There was a lot of smoke in the home. After the fire was extinguished one could observe that there was little damage; only an air conditioner, a bed and a fan were burnt. The cause of the fire was a short circuit caused by a laptop according to residents.
