Berlin – Transparency International, the global anti-corruption organisation, will launch its St. Maarten National Integrity System assessment on 28 July 2015. Following extensive research and interviews with key stakeholders in the past year, the report will contain evidence-based findings on the corruption risks on the island as well as concrete recommendations on how to improve integrity and good governance. It looks in detail into the main pillars of society, such as the public sector, business, political parties, media and other institutions.
The report will be launched with a public event in which the main findings and recommendations will be presented for discussion. All citizens of St. Maarten are cordially invited.
The event is also open to all journalists and media outlets.
