Minister Plenipotentiary, Hon. Josianne Fleming–Artsen recently met with the Executive Director of Foundation Secondary Education Windward Islands Drs. J. Rogers and General Director W.J.M. de Visser who were in the Netherlands on a working visit from April 7 to 16.
Rogers and Visser utilized the Sint Maarten House in The Hague to assess applicants for various subject areas for the upcoming school year 2015-2016 at the Milton Peters College (MPC) in South Reward, Sint Maarten.
The MPC representatives visit the Netherlands annually to recruit teachers for MPC.
Minister Plenipotentiary Fleming-Artsen said that Sint Maarten House is here to assist other institutions and organizations from the island who need meeting room facilities to facilitate their work while in the Netherlands.
“We are always very pleased to see our Sint Maarteners and to facilitate the services they need,” Minister Plenipotentiary Josianne Fleming-Artsen said.
Before departing the Netherlands at the end of their working visit, Rogers and Visser presented the Minister with a gift to in connection with them being able to use the facilities at Sint Maarten House.
