On Monday August 18th at approximately 06.10 p.m. several police patrol, Detectives and Forensic Department were sent to Rock Salt road on Pond Island to investigate case in which shots were fired during an argument. On the scene the investigating officers learnt, that an argument had taken place between three brothers which became quite heated. At one point during the argument the youngest brother with the initials A.M.C (22) fired several shots using a rifle. The suspect was arrested on the scene by police and taken to the Philipsburg Police Station where he remains for further investigation. No one was injured during entire incident. A small box containing several .22 caliber bullets was found on the suspect when he was searched. The other two brothers had already fled the scene before the arrival of the investigating officers and have not yet been located. During a search of the home of the suspect two rifles of caliber .22, a bullet-proof and a box containing several bullets were found and confiscated for further investigation.
