The Council of Ministers has agreed with the proposal of the Minister of Home Affairs and Kingdom Relations, Mr. R.H.A. Plasterk, to appoint Mr. E.E. Rijna as Island Governor of the Public Entity of Bonaire.
Mr. Rijna is presently the Acting Island Governor of Bonaire.
Until 2011 Mr. Rijna has worked at various banks in the Caribbean Netherlands. Mr. Rijna is the owner of Bon Recycling B.V. since 2011. He is married and has two children.
The appointment goes into effect on August 20st, 2014
