Ministry of Public Housing, Environment, Spatial Development and Infrastructure (Ministry VROMI), hereby announces that the Simpson Bay Causeway will be closed for motorized traffic from Friday midnight until Sunday 2.00am.
The closure is to allow for final preparations to be made for the official inauguration of the Causeway which is scheduled for Saturday, January 25 at 5.00pm.
There will be no through traffic in both directions on the Causeway Bridge from midnight January 24 to 2.00am January 26.
Motorists are requested to be vigilant and observant for the traffic directional signs.
