The National Council of Ministers, at the proposal of the Minister of Security and Justice decided to nominated Mr E. W. Noordhoek as the new chief prosecutor of St. Maarten. Noordhoek (1958) begins in January 2014 with his work at the Office of First Instance of Sint Maarten. He is currently a senior officer at the Office in The Hague. Noordhoek was previously included in national public prosecutor at the Functional Court in The Hague. There he was responsible for combating money laundering and terrorist financing.
