The Prime Minister of St. Maarten the Honorable Sarah Wescot-Williams received a courtesy visit by the Kingdom Ambassador to Panama J. Wiebe de Boer at her Cabinet on Tuesday. His Excellency de Boer was on a courtesy visit to St. Maarten where he attended the Business Innovations Symposium held at the Westin on Monday. The Prime Minister and Mr. de Boer discussed the need to come to concrete solutions in marketing St. Maarten as a business hub to the Latin American market. In 2012 the PM also held a brief meeting with Mr. de Boer while she attended the Rio+ 20 Summit on Sustainable Development in Rio de Janeiro. Various items were discussed during the brief meeting including COPA Airline’s commitment to St. Maarten and the Kingdom Embassy in Panama’s activities.
