The Honorable Minister of Education, Culture, Youth and Sports Affairs Patricia Lourens – Philip spoke at day 1 of the Teachers Conference on rights and responsibilities of teachers held under the auspices of the Minister, the Windward Islands Teachers Union (WITU) and UNESCO. The conference was for elementary school teachers, school boards and department heads of the Ministry. Prime Minister Hon. Sarah Wescot-Williams was also present.
