Vocalist Geniquah Thewet has been named the winner of TelCell’s Breakthrough talent show "Most Dedicated Contestant" at the end of the show finals Saturday.
According to event organizers, Geniquah showed great discipline when it came to promptness, cooperation and commitment to the event and her fellow contestants.
The Breakthrough team was especially pleased to hand out the winning prize to Geniquah because of a mishap half way through her performance when the music suddenly stopped.
"She showed her professionalism by picking up from where she left off even though we could all see she was very disappointed in the mishap," said TelEm Group Chief Commercial Officer, Mr. Brian Mingo.
Mr. Mingo hoped a winning prize of an airline ticket to an Insel Air destination, collected from TelEm Group’s Main office in Pond Island, would leave the talented youth with a happy memory of her participation.
