Based on information that came into the police department, two marihuana plantations were located. One plantation was located in the hill close to the Basseterre Drive and one in the hill close to Gibbs Drive.
On Saturday morning August 3rd 20 police officers conducted the searches to locate these marihuana plantations. A total of 54 marihuana plants and equipment such as plant pots, buckets and water hoses were also found and confiscated. The plantations in the hill close to Gibbs drive is the same one that was destroyed approximately two months ago. Unknown persons are again busy getting the plantation up and running. No one was arrested during these searches.
