On Thursday evening August 1st 2013 police raided a house on the Airport rd based on a tip that illegal activities were taking place there.
During the house search approximately U.S. $ 200.000 dollars in cash was seized as well as 3 illegal firearms and 2 cars. Two adults were arrested on the premises, one male and one female. At the time of the arrest 3 small children were on the premises as well. At the request of their mother they have been placed in the care of a relative.
The suspects are being charged with money laundering and possession of illegal firearms and will be led before the judge of instruction on Monday August 5th 2013.
The investigation is ongoing.
