The Prime Minister of St. Maarten the Honorable Sarah Wescot-Williams received an update on the progress of the St. Maarten Development Fund Foundation (SMDF) at her Cabinet on Wednesday afternoon. Attendants to the meeting included Richelda Emmanuel, SMDF Board President, Mr. Keith Franca, interim director of the SMDF, Ms. Emilia Thomas, Policy Advisor to the Prime Minister and Mr. Hensley Plantijn, Legal advisor to the PM.
The meeting update the PM on the progress of the SMDF as the fund will fill the gap left open when the Former Antillean Co-Financing Organization AMFO and Reda Sosial ceased operations.
The SMDF has its offices at the Yogesh Commercial Complex Unit 1-H.
