On April 18th, a dissatisfied ZVK client tied herself in front of the office of the Belastingdienst CN, where the Health Insurance Office is temporarily located.
The client is not satisfied, because her family doctor has informed her that her consent application has been rejected. The ZVK has admitted to having made a mistake, by prematurely informing the doctor that the permission had been rejected, while there was no formal decision. The application is not yet completed, the formal decision still needs to be taken.
The ZVK has attempted to meet with the client to talk face to face with regard to the privacy of client. The client did not wish to do this. An employee of the ZVK then went down to talk to the client. The conversation has shown that it not only pertains a rejection of the application, but also for equal rights for the citizens of Bonaire.
A representative of the Office of the Kingdom Representative also had a conversation with the client. In that conversation the client indicated that she will remain put until she receives a letter from the Kingdom Representative, or the Island Governer in which he/she should declare that he/she is going to do, everything possible to give, the citizens of Bonaire equal rights just as European Netherlanders.
