Meals on Wheels Foundation is the latest recipient of a donation made by Seven Seas Water (St. Maarten).

The donation was made to Mrs. Mary Bryson, who is president of the foundation which was founded in the aftermath of devastating hurricane Luis in 1995.

Presenting the cheque was Seven Seas Water (St. Maarten) managing director Franklyn Richards, who remarked that the company is "happy to bridge the gap between the needy and those that are in a position to contribute, by recognizing that any contribution can do much to really make a difference in the lives of others".

He added that "our senior citizens and our children are, sometimes, vulnerable groups in society and the target groups serviced by the foundation. For this reason alone, Seven Seas Water is honored to support this organization’s poverty program".

The Meals on Wheels Foundation president expressed gratitude for the gesture and indicated that the contribution would be used to pay for the Meals on Wheels booth which provides hot nutritional meals on a daily basis.
