Kingdom Representative for Bonaire, St. Eustatius and Saba, Wilbert Stolte, met with single mothers on Saba on Monday February 18th. The group of five ranged between 21 and 50 years plus. The single mothers who are all employed talked openly to Stolte about everyday circumstances and mainly the challenge of raising children on their own. Stolte was accompanied by his Policy Advisor for Saba and St. Eustatius, Koen van Laar. On Monday Stolte also met with the new Director of Saba Social Workplace (SSW), Latoya Charles and Island Recorder Akilah levenstone. On Tuesday he is scheduled to meet with The Executive Council of Saba and Alida Heilbron of the Chamber of Commerce.
