A Central Committee meeting with the Minister of Justice Hon. Roland Duncan has been scheduled for February 21.
The Central Committee meeting is scheduled for Thursday afternoon at 2.00pm in the General Assembly Chamber of the House of Parliament at Wilhelmina Straat #1 in Philipsburg.
The two agenda points to be dealt with are what initiatives are being taken to fight crime, including receiving crime statistics for 2012 as well as other relevant information; and an update regarding security and security companies in Sint Maarten.
The Central Committee meeting was requested by the United People’s (UP) Party faction. The initial meeting was first held on January 25.
Members of the public are always welcome to be present in the General Assembly Chamber during public meetings to follow the parliamentary session scheduled for that particular day.
The House of Parliament is located across from the Court House.
