On Tuesday March 3rd at approximately 10.00 a.m. several police patrols were directed by the Central Police Dispatch in the area of Sol gas station in Madame Estate, where at least one gunshot was heard. On the scene the investigating officers learnt that the suspects had fled the scene in a small white car with license-plate
M-4926 in the direction of Dutch Quarter. During of a search, the car and suspect were located. The suspect a woman with the initials W.L.G. from Sint Maarten was arrested on the spot and the vehicle confiscated. The suspect was then taken the Philipsburg Police Station where she was turned over to the Detective Department. Shortly after the two victims with initials Z.B. W. and M.A.L. also from Sint Maarten filed official reports with the Detective Department and stated they were slapped and gun butted by the suspect and another person who was also in the car. The suspect in this case remains in custody as the investigation continues.
