Sustainability: Our Challenge, Our Future
Today, as we celebrate International Youth Day, we have an opportunity to reflect from whence we came and how we got there.
Youth is a stage in our personal development that we must embrace and nurture as we mature into adulthood. We owe it, not only to God and future generations, but also ourselves to be responsible for our actions and survive amidst the challenges we face daily.
There are people, including our peers, who pride themselves in ensuring that we stumble and fall and make fun of our failures. I, therefore, challenge you to never give up, walk tall and be the best you can be.
As we usher in a new constitutional change, it is imperative that we tackle every challenge with determination, integrity and pride. Barack Obama overcame all odds to become the president of the United States of America and so can you; for with God all things are possible.
Have a happy youth day!
