Facilitating Pension payments

Dear All,
Our Senior citizens are one of the most vulnerable groups on the island and with the risk of exposure given the Coronavirus pandemic, WIB wants to ensure that we take extra precautions during this time when paying pensions.
We will be paying pensions starting as of Tuesday March 24th.
The following special arrangements have been made to accommodate the payment of pensions:  WIB will open its Pondfill and Bush Road branches from 8.30am to 9.30am only for seniors for the remainder of the week.  No other clients will be allowed into the branches before 9.30am for transactions.  Seniors who cannot come to the Pondfill branch before 9.30am, but would still want to collect their pension, will be allowed to enter through the entrance in front of the Sister Borgia School and will be assisted at the Commercial section at this branch.  Seniors who visit the Bush Road branch after 9:30 am will be assisted via our in-branch Senior Line.  Commercial and regular transactions will be performed at the regular cash area from 9.30am to 3.30pm at both branches.  Tents and chairs have been placed at both Pondfill & Bush Road locations for seniors to sit as the bank is only allowing 10 persons at a time into the branch lobbies.  The seating arrangement will be set up to facilitate the social distancing protocol (1 meter separation) and only seniors are allowed to be seated in that area from 8.30am to 9.30am daily.  Clients from Simpsonbay are reminded to go to Bushroad branch, while clients from A.T. Illidge branch should go to Pondfill.
These special conditions have been put in place for the safety of our valued seniors and we ask all customers to appreciate and fully respect them.
Regards,
