Apartment on fire in south reward

The police patrol together with the Fire department was dispatched to Peach road for a fire. According to the information provided to the police , a women was attempting to light her stove realized fire was sparking from the hose attached to the liquefied petroleum cylinder, kept inside the apartment. The spark caused a small explosion in the unit. The fire fighters who arrived on the scene rushed inside to minimize the spread of the blaze. The fire department personnel were able to get the fire quickly under control in the apartment.


The ambulance department gave first aid to the two victims who were in the apartment who suffered minor injuries. The police department is asking the residence to pay keen attention to the risks associated with flammable objects kept in their homes.
