SAINT EUSTATIUS On Thursday, September 5th , the remains of two people were found aboard an Italian oil tanker, MT RBD GINO FERRETTI.
The oil tanker, sailing under the Italian flag, was an route from Brazil to St. Eustatius. While still on the way, the captain had reported an incident on board his ship.
The bodies found are of two men, respectively 33 and 42 years old, with the Filipino nationality. This probably entails a crime.
A suspect, a 43-year-old man, has been arrested. He also has the Filipino nationality.
Caribbean Netherlands Police Force (KPCN) is investigating the case.
