Continuation Central Committee meeting of Parliament about discussion on the amending of the National Ordinance on the obligation to notify cross-border money transfers


The House of Parliament will sit in a Central Committee meeting on Thursday, February 7, 2019.
The Central Committee meeting which was adjourned on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 will be reconvened on Thursday, at 10.00 hrs. in the General Assembly Chamber of the House at Wilhelminastraat #1 in Philipsburg. The Minister of Justice and the Executive Director of the Caribbean Financial Action Task Force (CFATF) Secretariat based in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad & Tobago will be present.

The agenda point is:

National Ordinance amending the National Ordinance on the obligation to notify cross-border money transfers in response to recommendations 32 and 33 of the Financial Action Task Force (Parliamentary Yeas 2018-2019-120)

Members of the public are invited to the House of Parliament to attend parliamentary deliberations.

The House of Parliament is located across from the Court House in Philipsburg.
