The St. Maarten Chamber of Commerce & Industry (COCI) is currently busy making preparations for its Sixth Edition of the ‘COCI Street Fair Christmas in Philipsburg,’ and is calling on vendors to register today before the December 7 deadline.
Registration can be done at the COCI Office at C.A. Cannegieter Street #1 in Philipsburg. The street fair will take place on Saturday, December 22 from 12.00PM to 8.00PM. The registration fee per vendor is US$50.
“The Chamber takes the initiative to organize this fair right before the Christmas shopping rush. Philipsburg is the capital of our country and hence one of the reasons why it is organized here.
“The initiative is to bring together local vendors who will have the opportunity to sell their goods to residents and visitors. Vendors will be able to offer a variety of products including delicious local snacks and food for the holiday season.
“The Chamber has lowered the registration fee this year because we would like to give the opportunity to everyone to be a part of this great event and making it a success once again.
“It’s about bringing the Christmas spirit to Philipsburg. I call on vendors to sign-up today, so they can display their products and food during this festive time of the year,” COCI Executive Director Anastacio Baker said on Sunday.
The fair includes entertainment and performances by local artists and much more. Participating vendors will display their wares and food for sale.
