Minister Sander Dekker (Legal Protection) will visit Bonaire from November 4th till 6th , 2018.
The minister will have talks with, among others, the governor and the acting Kingdom representative. He also has a consultation with the chain partners on the subject of “juvenile criminal law” and he attends an expert meeting with the theme “domestic violence and child abuse”.
The Minister will further consult with the stichting Reclassering and the Victim Support Office and he will shortly visit Krusada.
On November 6th, the Minister will officially open the Netherlands Caribbean Correctional Institution on Bonaire. The judicial system has been in use since the end of August.
