WILLEMSTAD – Prime Minister Leona Romeo Marlin and the Minister of Justice Cornelius de Weever met with the Consul General of the United States Margaret Hawthorne on Friday August 17th 2018 at the US Consulate in Curacao.
Among the topics discussed were hurricane preparedness, lessons learnt from Hurricane Irma, US preclearancenegotiations, human trafficking reports for Sint Maarten, and US – Sint Maarten cooperation on security and law enforcement.
