Front Street to be closed on Friday for infrastructure beautification works

Ministry of Public Housing, Environment, Spatial Development and Infrastructure (Ministry VROMI), announces that Front Street will be closed to vehicular traffic on Friday, July 13 for infrastructure beautification works.

The infrastructure/beautification works entail removal of dead trees; black plastic mats; protruding bolts, metal rods and electrical wires; re-placement of missing bricks; and the removal of old telephone booths.

Ministry VROMI Department of Infrastructure Management will be carrying out the works that will take place from 6.00AM to 3.00PM on Friday.

Various types of heavy equipment will be used. The street will be closed from the Roman Catholic cemetery. As the works are completed, those sections of the street will be re-opened.

Front Street businesses are requested to take the closure into account when scheduling deliveries of goods on Friday, July 13.
