Art Saves Lives holds placement audition for sixth annual Summer Intensive.

~Program begins July 9th at the John Larmonie Center~
Enthusiastic students from all over St. Maarten showed up for Art Saves Lives’ placement screening for the organization’s Summer Intensive on June 23rd.
The screening event was held at the Philipsburg Cultural and Community Center and was hosted by Luam Keflezgy, celebrity choreographer and ASL Teaching artist. DW Accounting Consultant and Heavenly Water were among the sponsors of the event.
Registration for ASL is still open at www.eventbrite.com (search for Art Saves Lives 2018). Due to space limitations registration is limited and will close soon. Everyone interested in attending Art Saves Lives Summer Intensive must register online.
Art Saves Lives is also currently raising funds for their sixth Summer Intensive. This year in light of what the island has endured and overcome ASL is offering the program free of charge for the first 100 students who register. Several Student Award Students will be approaching persons and business this week for donations to provide free scholarships for ASL 2018. Scholarships are $150 per student. Business and persons are encouraged to support St. Maarten’s youth in this initiative to cover the costs of registration.
