SSSD hosting free workshop entitled “Looking Beyond:

Helping Your Child With Career Choices” on Thursday

Why wait until it is too late, worrying and stressing about what will become of your child?

Parents are often the first role model and source of information to children.
Consequently, the Student Support Services Division (SSSD)of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Youth and Sport aims to inform parents on various ways they may offer support to their child’s future career success.

SSSD is organizing the workshop entitled “Looking Beyond: Helping Your Child With Career Choices” that will be held on Thursday, April 19, 2017.

This free workshop aspires to inform parents of secondary school students with tips, strategies, and resources to aid their children in researching careers, exploring career options, and helping them decide on a career choice.

The “Looking Beyond: Helping Your Child With Career Choices” workshop will be held at the SSSD’s office from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Persons interested in attending are urged to contact the SSSD’s office at 543-1235 and reserve a spot as space is limited.
