The St. Maarten Police Force would like to express a great deal of gratitude to the public of St. Maarten for the exceptional behavior displayed during the causeway jump up. During the event, there were no reported fights or incidents. There were also no arrests made. The public is encouraged that if this trend is continued, we can expect to have one of the safest and most enjoyable carnival seasons ever.
