The Special Unit Robbery is presently investigation two separate armed robberies which took place on Wednesday July 12th. The first robbery took place at approximately 07.45 p.m. at Sunshine Supermarket on Genip road in Sint Peters.
This is where two unknown men dressed completely in black, one armed with a handgun and the other with a large knife stormed into the establishment and while threatening the cashier stole and undisclosed amount of cash.
The second robbery took place at Four Star Supermarket in Sucker Garden at approximately 09.15 p.m. This is when a lone gunmen dressed in dark clothing stormed into the establishment and robbed the cashier of an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspects in both cases fled the scene after committing this act.
