Island Governor should sign majority decisions

The judge has ruled in a verdict of June 15th, 2017 that the Acting Island Governor should always sign majority decisions of the Executive Council. Even though the decisions are in violation of the law or the general interest. In those cases an Island Governor has the possibility to request annulment of decision.

The Acting Island Governor has declared to respect the judge’s ruling. He will sign majority decisions. Further he will submit decisions for annulment, when in his opinion; there is a conflict with the law or the general interest.
