Ten lucky winners of TelCell’s annual SMS Text and Win Christmas campaign were presented with some fabulous prizes during a presentation ceremony at the TelEm Group main building this week.
The SMS promotion was a joint effort of TelCell and Klass Electronics that turned to be a tremendous success and a “Klass Act” for others to follow, based on the interest generated in the community.
During the campaign, TelCell mobile customers were encouraged to send text messages to 7777 stating “IWANT2WIN”. The more text messages they sent, the more chance they had to win.
Manager, Marketing & Sales, Ms. Grisha Marten, said at the end of the campaign on December 31, 10 winners were randomly chosen out of the thousands of persons who sent messages. On Tuesday, she officially announced the names of the following winners along with the prizes they were taking home:
Julia Stephan – Iphone 7; Apelonia Richardson – Ipad Air 2; Ruan Donkleui – Apple Watch 2; Priscille Bell – Samsung 7Edge; Sharon Clifford – Notebook Laptop; Kim Revan – Playstation 4; Richard Coombs – One year free $50 TopUp; Sunita Rogers – 40” Led TV; Crystal Gumbs – One year free internet; Kadar Gumbs – Xbox 360.

“We are also most grateful to Klass Electronics for joining us in the promotion, which has been nothing short of a “Klass act” for all of our respective customers,” Grisha added.
She promises that TelCell will be having other SMS promotions throughout the year, so others will have other chances to be lucky winners of more super prizes.
