President of Parliament Claret Connor on Monday received courtesy visits from newly appointed Ambassador to Cuba Alexandra Valkenburg and Ambassador to the Dominican Republic Robert de Leeuw.
The Ambassadors are visiting the country on a two-day working visit by meeting with different stakeholders in the public and private sectors.
After completing their working visit to Sint Maarten, the delegation will travel to Curacao and Aruba.
Both Ambassadors were accompanied by regional envoys Jurgen Bartelink, Regional Business Developer Pacific Rim (Lima), Alex Oosterwijk, Regional Envoy Security, Rule of Law & Human Rights (San Jose), Liesbeth Mol, Regional Envoy for the Caribbean Missions & Networks (Havana).
