Jason Holder audio | West Indies v Pakistan 2nd ODI

SHARJAH, United Arab Emirates – West Indies captain Jason Holder spoke to members of the media after the second ODI against Pakistan at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Sunday night.

 

Pakistan batted first and made 337-5 off their 50 overs. West Indies replied with 278-7 off 50 overs. Pakistan won by 59 runs to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series with one match left.

 

For West Indies, fast bowler Alzarri Joseph had an impressive debut with 2-62, while captain Jason Holder took 2-51.

In the batting Darren Bravo (61) and Kraigg Brathwaite (39) added 89 for the second wicket, while Marlon Samuels (57) and Denesh Ramdin (34) added 67 for the fourth wicket.

The Man-of-the-Match award went to Pakistan’s Babar Azam, who made 123 – his century of the series. He shared a third-wicket stand of 170 with Shoaib Malik (90).
