The Minister of VROMI Honorable Angel Meyers received a courtesy visit from newly appointed US Consul General, the Honorable Margaret Hawthorne and Mr. Willem Remie Political/Economic Affairs Advisor.
The purpose of this visit was mainly introductory and to get familiarized with the Government of Sint Maarten.
The Honorable Ms. Hawthorne within her capacity, oversees consular affairs related to the Dutch Caribbean Islands Sint Maarten, Aruba, Curacao, Bonaire, Saba and Sint Eustatius.
