Miguel Cummins named in West Indies squad for 1st Test

ST JOHN’S, Antigua – The selection panel of the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) today named fast bowler Miguel Cummins as replacement for Jerome Taylor in the 13-member squad to face India in the upcoming first Test match against India.

 

Cummins, 25, has played 41 first-class matches, with 116 wickets (average 22.56). He was a member of the Test squad in Australia earlier this year.

 

The first Test is scheduled for the Sir Vivian Richards Cricket Ground in Antigua, and starts on Thursday, July 21. First ball daily is 10am (9am Jamaica Time)
