In the preparation and implementation, on the intercession of the Ministry and the Kingdom Representative, the utmost use will be made of the knowledge and skills of on St. Eustatius locally available technical installation consultants, construction companies and agencies. In the procedure is provided that local contractors and installation firms are invited to submit a competitive bid. The project management will be carried out by the Central Government Real Estate Agency.

The implementation of the project will commence in the 3rd quarter of 2016 and will be completed at the end of the 3rd quarter of 2017. The Central Government is herewith investing in preserving the historic buildings of Oranjestad Statia, the economic development of the island and the tourism appeal.
