WEST INDIES UMPIRE AND WICB’S COMMERCIAL MANAGER OFF TO WORLD TWENTY20

St. John’s, ANTIGUA – International Umpire, Joel Wilson and Commercial Manager of the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB), Nelecia Yeates will be attending the 2016 ICC World Twenty20 scheduled for India, March 8 to April 3.

 

West Indies’ Umpire, Joel Wilson, a member of the International Panel of Umpires and Referees, is one of the 31-member match officials who will preside over the four-week event. He was also an umpire in the 2015 World Cup hosted by Australia and New Zealand and later in July stood in his first Test match between Bangladesh and South Africa in Chittagong.

 

STAFF ASSIGNMENT

 

Yeates will be assigned to the Venue and Sponsorship Management Team which has among its roles all aspects of event sponsorship and the licensing programme management in the days leading up to and during the event, with the responsibility to ensure that facilities and operational functions are delivered to the appropriate standard.

 

Yeates has been with the WICB for 13 years and has worked in the Marketing and Business Development department; Cricket World Cup 2007 and has with the Commercial Department since 2008. She has been the manager for the last six years.
