Independent Member of Parliament, Cornelius De Weever stated that an important piece of legislature will soon come to the floor of parliament, which will improve the lives of our people.
This important piece of legislation is the fixed-term employment contract (article 614a); pregnancy and childbirth (article 629a); equal treatment (article 646 to 653) and transfer of undertaking (articles 662 to 666).
“It is my understanding that the Council of Advice has finalized their part and has sent this valuable piece of legislation to the Labor Policy Department for its nader rapport,” said MP De Weever.
MP De Weever further stated that once this is completed it will be sent to the Council of Ministers and then to parliament for them to do their work and approve this long awaited legislation for the people of this country.
