The Department of Economy, Transportation and Telecommunications would like to remind taxi and bus drivers, to attend a meeting on Thursday, 4th June regarding a consultation on the country’s public transportation system.
The invitation is being extended by the Minister responsible for Transportation, and the Policy Department. Help, assistant drivers and permit holders are also invited to the Thursday evening meeting.
The aforementioned public transportation sector stakeholders will also have the opportunity to present the challenges that they face.
The public transportation meeting will take place at the Cultural Center on Back Street from 7.00PM to 9.00PM.
Those in attendance will get information with respect to steps being taken to upgrade legislation and policy.
The input of those in attendance in the meeting next week Thursday is most welcome as it will only further improve the public transportation system of the country.
