NAPB (section Sint Maarten) holds general election

The Police Union NAPB section Sint Maarten held a general election on Wednesday June 3rd 2015. These elections were held after the former president Inspector E. Josepha resigned from this position on March 29th 2015.  After the resignation of Josepha the Acting President Mrs. Janine Peterson temporarily took over the presidency until new elections for a new board were held. The main voting station was located in the Walter R. Kramers Building on the E Camille Richardson Street. (Police head Quarters)

Persons postulating themselves in this election were:

Presidency: Mrs. Janine Peterson and Mr. Daryl Chandler

Board member: Mr. Rumini Rogers, Mrs. L. Christian-Piper, Mrs. S Crispulo and Mrs. V. Euson.

Congress: Mr. Alfred Leito, Mr. John Boyrard and Mr. Dairon Every.

The elections started at 08.00 a.m. and ended at 05.00 p.m. with following results:

A total of 142 ballots were received.

A total of 83 votes were casted

A total of 79 votes were valid

A total of 04 votes were invalid

A total of 00 votes were blank

As new president for the NAPB section Sint Maarten was chosen Mrs. Janine Peterson with a total of 48 votes defeating Mr. Daryl Chandler with 30 votes.

As new congress members were chosen Mr. Alfred Leito and Mr. Dairon Every.

As new board members were chosen Lisa Christian- Piper, Mr. Rumini Rogers, Mrs. Veta Euson and Mrs. Shawn Crispulo.

The new elected members will join together with the existing board members Janice Philips and Fabiola Brown to form the new NAPB section Sint Maarten.
