Two victims found dead at their homes

On Thursday March 2nd at approximately 07.20 a.m. police was sent to the home of the well known Dr. Foeken in Cole Bay where he was found lying on the floor at the entrance to his home and was not showing any signs of life. On the scene the investigating officers did indeed encounter the lifeless body of Dr. Foeken. The paramedics were on the scene however they could not do anything to revive the victim. Doctor Mercuur arrived on the scene and pronounced the death of the victim. The investigation that was done by the detectives and Forensic Department indicated that there was no foul play in this case. The body of the victim as then transported to the morgue.

On Thursday March 2nd at approximately 08.00 a.m. police was sent to Porto Cupe Coy to investigate a case involving a young man who was not showing any signs of life. On the scene the investigating officers encountered the lifeless body of a young man who had lost his life by hanging. His parents stated that they had no idea why the victim would take his own life. The Forensic Department and Detective Department are investigating this case to determine what exactly happened however thus far the investigation does not show any signs of foul play.

The police department extends condolences to the family and friends of the deceases.
