On 28 Jan 2015, 25 volunteers from the U.S. Forward Operating Location (USFOL) partnered
with volunteers and staff from Richardus Huis for a concentrated revitalization effort. The team
spent an afternoon applying a new coat of paint to the building exterior, removing debris and
trash from the grounds, and improving the outdoor landscape.
Richardus Huis is a non-profit home for the elderly focused on supporting men in need of fulltime
assistance. USFOL outreach programs such as these demonstrate their continued
eagerness to be involved with communities in Curaçao that have welcomed them to the island.
